Canvas Painting Event
Follow these directions to create your own masterpiece.
Step 1: Begin with a tracing
Place the carbon paper down on the canvas with the dark side of the paper laying face down on the canvas. Lay the outline of the stadium (white paper) on top of the carbon paper.
Using a pencil or ink pen, trace the outline making sure not to move the sheet while tracing.
Step 2: Adding the Sky
Starting at the top of the canvas, use the blue paint to begin painting the sky. As you move further down the canvas add a little bit of white to your blue. This will create an ombre effect. Do this all the way to the bottom of the canvas

Step 3: Stadium
Clean your paintbrush completely.
On the plate, mix a small amount of black with a small amount of white to create a dark grey.
Use this to begin to begin filling in the stadium in the areas shown below.
Step 4: Stadium, cont.
Using your grey, add white paint to create a lighter shade of grey. Use this to continue to fill in the stadium as shown below.

Step 5: Add a pop of color
Clean your paintbrush completely.
Using your red paint, fill in the letters in your stadium (you will freehand these) and the body to the gamecock.

Step 6: Outline
Clean your paintbrush completely.
Use the black paint to outline the stadium, windows, letters and gamecock.

Step 7: Add Trees
Clean your paintbrush completely.
Mix blue and yellow to make a shade of green for your trees. Add green paint to your brush. Using a tapping motion add in the trees. WITHOUT rinsing the paint brush, add a little bit of black and the same tapping motion to the canvas to add accents to the trees.
Your Masterpiece is Complete!
