Sand Art
Nothing says relaxation like the beach so let us bring the sand to you! Students create their own works of art that's the perfect addition to any space. Perfect for Week of Welcome or any relaxation event.

Money Booth

​See who has the fastest hands in our inflatable prize booth.  When the tickets go flying students have 30 seconds to grab as many as possible.  Beware of the wammie tickets!!

Canvas Painting Parties

This is a guaranteed hit on campus.  We bring everything students need to produce canvases throughout the event including aprons for attendees and table protectors!  We can develop paintings to fit ANY THEME. 

Everyone who attends begins with a blank canvas. We give step-by-step instructions which are designed for all skill levels (especially beginners). At the end of the class each student will have a completed painted canvas to take  home with them. Don’t worry, even if students have never taken an art class they will be able to follow along.

Tie Dye Shop

Skip the mess with our easy-to-set-up Tie Dye Shop.  Students will be able to produce their very own tie-dye items. Comes with everything your student will need including the item to be dyed, rubber bands, and gloves.

Homage Exhibit 
​
The Homage Exhibit displays works by artists Romare Bearden and Elizabeth Catlett alongside original documents from Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington, Ralph Bunche and more. 

Traveling through time guests will see African artwork by unnamed craftsmen moving through artifacts depicting the cruelty of American slavery and bondage in the US.  Items on display cover Slavery, Reconstruction,  Post-Reconstruction, The Civil Rights Era, Post-Civil Rights with a handful of selected pieces focused on historical events post 1980.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Event participants will walk away with an understanding on how socially constructed categories, such as race, gender, and/or class have affected power differences from Slavery to current day.
  • Attendees will be able to explain the role of institutions (e.g., the NAACP;  CORE; SCLC; and SNCC).
  • Attendees will critically examine the historical conditions that have contributed to the marginalization of people of African descent, and understand how African Americans have fought against these conditions.
  • Being about to describe the legacies and ideologies of key people.​

Leather Lab

Students can make their own leather bracelet or leather keychain.  Using a heat pen students will mark their design or text and walk away with a finished piece of jewelry.  

3 Stations will be set-up to maximize the number of students who can participate in this hands-on DIY craft event.
Hand Sanitizer Bar

Avoid germs and stay healthy this flu season with our hand sanitizer.  Attendees are able to mix their own scrubs with scents such as Chamomile & Aloe,  Lavender, Rose, Peppermint, Butter Cookie, Coconut and Blackberry.
Pop-Up Print Shop

Operating in a 20'x10' space we create a pop-up screen print experience for event attendees.  Students will create a custom item on their own terms.  We work with you to design two (2) printable screens for onsite printing.  
Terrarium Plant Parties

 We lead students through a step-by-step creative plant based workshop where they are able to choose from various succulent plants and colored accessories.  This makes the perfect addition to students living spaces.

We bring everything including table protectors!

This price includes two (2) back-to-back classes of up to 50 students each class (A max of 100 total students throughout the duration of the event), as a drop in style DYI session which includes 100 kits, or as a make and take kit.

 Spa Night Body Scrubs and Roller Balls

This is a great all around sea salt. Made in the US,  this sea salt is from the waters of the Pacific Ocean.  Students are able to mix their own scrubs with scents such as Chamomile & Aloe,  Lavender, Rose, Peppermint, Butter Cookie, Coconut and Blackberry.    Roller Balls are a great way for students to create a wearable fragrance.
